Surf School Graduate –  Next Steps Course

Ages 12 – 17

Feel like you’ve got all you can get out of beginner surf lessons and doing pop-ups on the beach? Our next step course is all about getting your surfing to the next level and growing your knowledge of the ocean, boards and the lineup to make you a smarter and more competent independent surfer.

To join this course we ask that you are already familiar with surfing “outback” and have some knowledge of catching green waves.

All equipment is provided including use of our intermediate and advanced boards for the duration of the day.

These groups run at a capacity of 1 instructor to 5 students so everyone gets individual tailored feedback and assistance in the water.

2 Day Course – £295

  • 2 x morning surf lessons at a choice of beaches
  • 1 x video analysis on first day
  • 2 x theory talks (board talk & surf etiquette)
  • Afternoon guided free surf (equipment hire included)
  • Hot drink provided at lunch

4 Day Course – £575

  • 4 x morning surf lessons at a choice of beaches
  • 2 x video analysis sessions
  • 3 x theory talks (board talk, swell forecasting, surf etiquette)
  • Afternoon guided free surf (equipment hire included)
  • Hot drink provided at lunch

Want to make the beach your office and pursue a job as a surf instructor? This course will ensure your surfing ability is up to the required standard. Your instructor will be able to help guide you through the process of getting your qualifications and how to find a job teaching surfing.

What we provide

All equipment is included in the price of your lesson. This includes a full length wetsuit and a soft foam surfboard. We also have boots if needed. If you would prefer to wear your own wetsuit then please do so, you are welcome to use our changing rooms.

 

Beginners are allocated one of our Softech learner surfboards. These boards are soft, buoyant and stable. Perfect for the first time surfer.

 

We have a variety of different length boards to cater for all shapes and sizes. If you have surfed before you may want to try one of our intermediate surfboards or premium hard board range.

 

Our qualified coaches will be with you every step of the way and provide hands on assistance in the water throughout.

What you need to bring

Please arrive for your lesson 15 minutes prior to the start time. We have changing rooms and storage for clothes and bags, phones and valuables can be left securely in the shop.

 

We recommend bringing the following:

  • Swimwear
  • Towel
  • Water
  • Suncream
  • Enthusiasm!
