Errant MD goes back to School!

Posted on , updated on

Chris Thomson, the MD of our parent company Errant Surf Holidays, went back to school yesterday to hear some very passionate business pitches delivered in the Treviglas Surf Academy Den by year 12 Surf Academy students.

The Surf Academy students are starting their own businesses and pitched their ideas to Chris Thomson (who was also the previous winner of Cornwall Young Business Person of the year) and Nigel Semmens (UK Surf legend, producer of some of the UK’s most cutting edge shapes ridden by the UKs top surfer Russell Winter), the owner of C-Skins and joint Gul founder Carey Brown and surfboard shaper Nathan Tummon of NT Surfboards.

We just want to say a huge well done to all of the students involved, all of the pitches were fantastic and we’re looking forward to seeing some bright young faces within the surfing industry. So well done to:

Charlie Mills ‘Superior Wetsuits’, Josh Braddock ‘ JB Wetsuits’, Ryan Smith ‘Slacker Surf Solutions’, Tyler Armstrong ‘Tyler Armstrong’, Zack Bibby ‘Bibby’s Boards’, Frankie McCarthy ‘FMsticks’, George Parkes ‘GpSprays’, Matt Charlton Moore ‘Dingless Dings’, Lee Chaffe ‘Crystal Pad’, Luke Slater ‘cool hand luke boards’.

Apply to join the Treviglas Surf Academy here.
